About Us

Check out The Tent - a fun, friendly and relaxed opportunity to meet with God. First Sunday of every month, 3pm, Christ Church Rectory, Blakenall Heath, WS3 1HT (the next one is Sunday 1st September 16:00 - 17:30)

“Serving the communities of Blakenall Heath, Leamore and Beechdale with the love of Christ and the message of Jesus in word and deed”

Walsall Heathlands Mission

The Walsall Heathlands Mission project is a partnership between the local churches (Christ Church and St Chad's), the Diocese of Lichfield and Latimer Minster, which began in early 2017.

It is not a church plant or a new church, but the opportunity to join in what God is doing. The team have a focus on prayer and discipleship to multiply mission and encourage the existing congregations in their walk with Christ. We hope and pray that this new season will help the Church in this area to grow, serve Christ and minister to the community.

“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour...”
Isaiah 62: 1-2

Verse of the Day

31כ (Kaf) For the Lord will not reject us forever. 32Though he causes us grief, he then has compassion on us according to the abundance of his loyal kindness. 33For he is not predisposed to afflict or to grieve people.

Lamentations 3: 31-33 (NET Bible®)
